WiveyPool is delighted to support The Big Swim, an inspiring series of long-distance swimming challenges undertaken by young people who are passionate about protecting our rivers, lakes, and seas.
These dedicated swimmers are using their achievements to raise awareness of the growing impact of water pollution and sewage discharges on both our environment and our enjoyment of outdoor swimming. Their message is simple: everyone should be able to swim and enjoy our natural waters without concern for their health or safety.
WiveyPool is proud to provide training facilities and support for participants preparing for these ambitious challenges. Working under the guidance of WiveyPool WiLDSquad coach Hamish McCarthy, swimmers build the endurance, skills, and confidence needed to take on their swims safely.
You can support both The Big Swim and the next generation of swimmers by contributing to the Level the Water Fund. The fund helps provide swimming lessons and access to aquatic activities for individuals, schools, and youth groups, while also supporting local children training to become lifeguards and swim teachers.
