We are hoping to build a Pool House (where the existing old sheds are) to get us Fit for the Future and Keep Wivey Swimming. It will provide a warm area for our swimmers and spectators, a room for school children to learn vital lifesaving skills, a community space and a training area for our staff and lifeguards. And, it is proposed to include an accessible toilet that will be available to everyone – YES EVERYONE – who uses the Rec.
We are applying for grants for the majority of the build cost but to cover the shortfall we need to raise £60k in 6 months! We are hoping our wonderful community will help.
